Welcome to The Endurance Mandate. This blog is a call to live a life of perseverance under the Lordship of Christ. I’ve resolved that every aspect of a Christian’s life—family, work, body, and resources—must come under His authority. This blog focuses on means to endure in a world that tests resolve, to build strength both spiritually and physically, and to lead with purpose in our families and communities for our children’s children. Whether through reflections on Scripture, thoughts on biblical leadership, or practical advice for fitness and discipline, my goal is to challenge, equip, and encourage you to walk the long road with steadfast faith and hope. The grind is not for the faint of heart, and many men fall short, as do I.
I am a Christian, Soldier (NCO), Husband, Father, and Patriot. I’m also a strength and conditioning coach and a former teacher of exercise science and physiology. I’m a big fan of resistance training and a good old assault bike. Evidence-based data is my main focus for understanding the human body. I dabble in nutrition but avoid the fringe stuff, sticking to tried-and-true thermodynamics and adequate macro/micro-nutrient consumption.
